Nice Times..... More Practice And You'll Get Better. Its Weird How Many Si Drivers Get Wheel Hop. I've Only Had Wheel Hop Twice Since I Bought The Car And It Happened On The Street, Not The Track.

More clutch work and a little throttle control is all you need to get rid of the wheel hop.

that's why...the drag strip has a more sticky surface than the normal street.

thanks! ...i'll keep trying. do you guys think the ingalls torque damper would help? ..i've been considering it.if so i think i'll go ahead and get a race header and the torque damper ...then im pretty sure i'll get into the low 14's ..heck maybe even high 13's ...now if i could only figure out how to launch.....

what were you launching at? with the drag radials you should be able to launch off the neutral rev limiter and pull some good 60ft times. keep practicing and you'll be hitting low 14's. good first time though.

Yes!! the ETD is by far the best money spent on my car on one specific mod. Most notitcible too, performance gains wise.

yeah good job man, i had doubts about you pullin in the 14's but i see drag radials make a huge difference. I gotta work on my launches too. I thought launching this car would be cake since i used to drive a car with 256wtq and could cut 2.2's on street tires. practice makes perfect.

OP, good job. The key to a good time with the Si seems to be in the launch. It is trying to find the correct rpm to launch from that is a balance of wheelspin and traction. I know these cars have potential. I am excited to see what you get with a race header.

311nla, don't feel bad about your rans, a lot of people was complaining about their launches which lead to believe that the track wasn't prep right.

you did a very good job with the whip i'll see you next month...

I understand doubts of pulling 14's. But his DR's made a huge difference? The only difference between his 60' and yours was .08 of a second. Not a huge difference to me.
