07 si vs 04 g35

i have an 07 civic si coupe with just an exhaust and my friend has an 04 g35 sedan auto. he wants to run me, yes at the track, and im wondering how i would do. any thoughts?

IMO G35, they're fast every year they're made.

BUT so are our Si's =D
From the dig if it's the X it's AWD so it'll win, but I ran a friend when my 07 FG2 was stock and it was almost even by the end of the 1/4 mile and he has a stock 05 G35x sedan auto. So I'm sure you'll do fine. If you have time try to get a Throttle Body Spacer with Gasket or an intake, but definitely a TWM/Comptech/Corsport Short Shifter.

this cars are not even a match car is almost the same weight v6 vs 4 banger
g35 auto is at least 14.8-15 flat in 1/4 mile ....maybe with i/h/e reflash

I gotta say you'll lose. A auto g35 sedan may hit 14.5 and below.

And if it's a g35x he'll beat you off the line.

search is your friend, theres at least 2 threads about Si's vs g35s, they all lost to the g35 and the threads all got locked for street racing, im locking this one as a repost and for the street racing post i just deleted
