Nice driving BTW, that is a tight / small course, we always hear about how big the events are in the US compared to ours, I've only been to a couple of events that small!!!
The end is the stop box, of you don't come to a full stop at the sign or can't stop before it, it's a DNF.

I thought that just a lil too corny.

For $80 camera and $3 in parts to attach it to the rear center headrest, I think it worked out well.
yes it did great vid

Try looking ahead before you exit corners. Seems like you do a good job on before corner entry but once in the corner your head doesn't turn to look for the next one until after you exit. Kinda like you are getting a little G lock. Otherwise looked good expecially on the crappy OEM tires.

Yea definitly gotta work on getting behind the turn point, but with only 2200 miles on the car and the first event since november, its a lil bit to get back in the groove.

After seeing that your mount is obviously up to the task.

I just bought a Sony hard drive camcorder and any advice you can give on that $3 headrest mount would be appreciated.

Pics if possible?

I'll get pictures of the mount tonight, been busy with auto-x stuff. New video in a few days.

My mount is attached to the rear center headrest, with the camera on the passenger side, front seat layed down. I'm more focused on what my hands are doing, not just where I'm going. I used the top pf a free tripod, drilled holes in it for U bolts, and just clammped it to the headrest posts.

Googled - Very simmilar to this: CruiseCam Headrest Camera Mount

Being an SCCA Solo Safety Steward as well as being a chief within my region, I'm surprised the car was allowed to stay there. I won't even touch the fact about leaving 75' buffers between solid objects.

Actually, Tony, its 25 feet from solid objects as long as they are not on the outside of a turn. The 75 foot rule is course to spectator distance.

But, as a safety steward, I would have had a hard time approving that course with the car there.

Regards,
Alan

Exactly how I was thinking... We've both seen people spin cars in some pretty creative manners at Englishtown.
