if you are going to try to take it from a roll the GTI is gonna win thats where the GTI is the most powerful.

yeah i saw one today , didn't realy race him but he was trying to merge, the f****r is reckless ,he accelarate real quick .i think he can take me from 2nd gear to 3rd gear roll, but i know i can take him at the top.I just don't get it why this people drive so reckless in a traffic when you can't speed more than 70mph.

Its called the small balls large ego problem.... It occurs in at least 30% of performance car drivers.......

lawlz, I couldn't think of the scientific name for the fore mentioned syndrome. I'm glad you remembered.

S.B.L.E. (small balls large ego) is a curse on everyday drivers.

on a more personal note, my buddy has a 05 Jetta GLI and I he runs even with me in 1st and until I hit vtec in 2nd. From that point, all the way to the top I'm constantly pulling on him. He is stock, all I have is intake.

i beat an new gti with intake and i also beat a new farenheight jetta gli...both from 40mph or lower roll....i was shocked

I had a chance to race one of the older Volks, a 1.8 turbo GTI. No idea if the guy had any mods. Let's just say it was on a closed circuit with...erm...an obstacle blocking the way leaving just enough space for one car to pass

. From a complete stop, he got approximately 1 car ahead of me, then after I passed 5800 rpm I was like "OMFG VTAK JUST KICKED IN YO!!!"

. Caught up to him in second, passed him in third.

The constant and higher torque definitely gives them an advantage immediately post-launch.

"THERE'S A CURE FOR YOUR SMALL BALLS!"

or

"TAKE IT TO THE TRACK, BITCH."

or simply

"OFF THE PHONE AND DRIVE, CUNT."

or

"YOU PAID WHAT FOR THAT?"

they are pretty impressive 1st gear and 2nd gear , but the thing is they gonna race you like at the traffic , beat you at 1st and 2nd and they think they took the win because they accelarated faster.
