Power to weight ratio, the Si is better. The Si lugs around about 14.604 lbs. per horsepower while the Spyder lugs around about 15.217 lbs. per hosepower. Unless the Spyder has tons of torque, Si probably pulls better off the line and definitely quicker in the 1/4.

Well, the new Spyders are not bullets by any means at all. They are leading the weight category at 2,195 Lbs. though.
You are looking at a car that has a 0-60 of a little less than 7 seconds and a total quarter mile time of about 15.5 seconds. As long as you get a good launch and arent a failure at shifting you will take it by a decent amount. I'll run ya in my deuce if ya want though.

I actually don't have my Si yet, I am probably going to order it sometime next week. However, of the time I have spent in the Si I love it. I feel bad comparing the two cars but that is because my MR2 is just superior because it has a fair amount invested in it. As far as a snappy little car and daily driving the Si is the winner, but at least for now my MR2 is the speed demon.
