fg2 vs mugen

so this weekend coming up im suppose to race some brand new mugen 4dr....at the track...my mods are cai catback n a race header...his mods are just short ram intake....do u think i can take him?

You should easily take him. The motors are the same. His mugen exhaust doesn't make that much of a difference.

Well, seeing as the Mugen is really only visual mods and upgraded suspension, it would be like racing a regular Si-dan with a SRI.

4dr is only 50 pounds heavier... and not everyone is a perfect driver... so it really depends on driver i'd say...

If you have no suspension mods, then without a doubt you'll be faster in a straight line. However the mugen suspension SHOULD (key word lol) be better than yours, meaning it should be faster through the corners.

In my opinion it will be very close and the driver will decide it. It would be interesting for a race driver to drive both and compare the two though :)

*edit - sorry i thought that this was on a race track, not a drag strip. 1/4 mile you should take it if you can shift :)

truthfully, I have a Mugen, and the race should be close.....yes, the Mugen suspension is MUCH better than the regular SI, as I had an 06' SI.....but the Mugen is not that much quicker, if at all....yea its got a catback, lighter wheels and suspension, but the block is the same, so it should be close =D

Being that it has a Mugen brand, it will be lagging behind at about 3/4 of the way through the strip, probably hitting 14.8sec/96mph trap. However, being Mugen, it will suddenly surge forward in the last 45 feet and will do a 12.5/125.

You will be pwned.
