You'll win with even drivers, but don't forget it's not just the few extra horses the exhaust releases in the Mugen Si, but the suspension is a special 'track' setup, but would increase times in a straight line as well.
Ex. Mugen Si with stock FA5 suspension vs. Mugen Si with Mugen Si suspension assuming equal drivers, equal conditions etc. only difference is suspension, the Mugen Si with the Mugen Si suspension would win. ![]() |

actually, it is a cat-back.
but anyway, what a pointless thread. seriously, this is as bad a 07 SI coupe vs. 07 SI sedan thread. the mugen may have an exhaust, but its also 60 lbs heavier, comes with a full lip kit and spoiler which will probably negate the (maybe) 4hp that the exhaust gained. drivers race. a few hp difference that any car may have will not effect anythign since its all abou the driver aynway. you could beat a 1000hp supra if the driver doesnt know what they are doing. |

true that. thats all this race is si vs si. now take into effect that you have a raceheader over him and extra ponies the CAI puts out, its gonna be a drivers race. go race him and find out. stop the nonsense about the car weighing more because its not enough to really make a difference. there could be a 150lb guy in the Mugen and a 210lb guy in the coupe. make sense.

EX Stock 16"..........20 lbs HFP 17".................20 lbs Si stock 17"...........23 lbs HFP 18".................23 lbs Mugen 18"..............16.5-17 lbs 23lbs - 17lbs = 6lbs x 4 = 24lbs and the unsprong weight thing makes it alot more then just 24 lbs so that should make up the 50lbs of the mugen sedan? and maybe im wrong ![]() |

o0o0o, didnt know the exact specs. i thought the gps were 17lbs and the stock were 21. yea, that would make a nice difference, going around a road course. not so much in a 1/4 mile. and the 24 unsprung can easily be negated by the weight of a driver. i iwsh this thread would go away /unsubscribed |
