07 civic si vs ep3

this guy at school has a ep3 and always revs his car at me, but i dont really do anything. so one day in the parking lot he asked me to run with him at the track. i have i/h/e and some other mods. he has CAI/H/E pretty much the same mods. o yeah the bet was $150. he said if i beat him than he'll take me on turnbull canyon a mountain road.

my friend has an 04 ep3..i raced him on the track..beat him easily..i was already a car ahead in 2nd..he has a cold air intake and exhaust..and i have a short ram and exhaust.

I had an EP3 also with CAI/RH/E. To be honest its really slow....only Fi EP3s are pretty quick.

You will be head to head until you hit 5,800rpm then is going to be like you inject a small shot of N2O.

Are you sure he just has the a3? If he has a swap and you dont know it, he may be trying to hustle you.

. Both of you should pop your hoods to make sure in comparison. Either hes a complete moron and doesnt know what his ep3 actually does, or he does have a swap or something else you dont know about so be careful. If all he has is bolt ons, you might aswell just tell him to give you the $150 straight up

he would need an engine swap (k20a2/k20a) or as others have said a turbo/supercharger setup.

And don't pull no Fast and Furious crap on mountains or anything. Tell him to go to hell if he tries that.
