lowering the PSI in my tires made me run worse at our track too. Hell and i was modded then and still ended up much worse. Richmond dragway=the ***.

BTW Whocares reaction time doesn't matter unless you are bracket racing etc.... it doesn't impact your e.t. at all. Not sure if you know this or not.

Yeah I never worry about reaction time, I just concentrate on good runs unless I am racing someone in particular, I usually just go for times. I went to Virginia Motorsports Park back in December and every race was against like 11 second mustangs, I usually just let them go and then I go to make sure they don't come into my lane.

I did know that, but my track gives you a free entry pass if you can get almost a perfect reaction time between .001 - .009

I was pretty friken close. Saves me 20 bucks for next time. Plus, i am practicing for braket racing. isteed of racing for no money, my track splits the pot ( usually 100 bucks ) to whoever can win in braket racing. Im pretty consistant as is, so i may just do it.

that's cool......you would be surprised how many people think a bad rt is why their track times suck so bad. That is really cool that the track offers that though it is great incentive.

learn how to drive and you will change that statement. not to be a dick but you have it backwards. the higher the pressure the more you spin because the tire doesnt flex as much. the lower the pressure the more wheel hop you will get because the tire is soft and flexes more. street tires are recomended to be at 30-35psi so next time you go to the track stat at 19psi and work your way up to 35psi and see which works best for you but im 100% sure that if you lower the rpms to right under 4k and keep your tire pressure up around 33psi you will get maximum traction which means 60' and better mph, so if you put down a good 60ft and good mph your et should be lower also.
p.s dont worry about powershifting into 2nd cause you will eventually **** up your tranny but make sure you powershift into 3rd and 4th. 1st time i went to the track i went 14.5 at 96 with 23psi in the front tires and with my spare and a half tank of gas. goodluck next time you go. and im sure you will break into the 14s
