My best time so far.

I went to the track today and got my best time so far. Track condition was perfect. My setup is Injen CAI and Skunk2 70mm Exhaust. I still can't believe the other guy who got 14.096 with stock FA5. But anways, here is the slip and the video.

YouTube - 06 Honda Civic Si at the track

When I first drag raced with same exact setup, I ran 15.7s. Once I got the experience down, kept on trying and trying. Yes I do powershift but only from 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th. I cant never able to powershift from 1st to 2nd cuz it WILL grind. So if im able to powershift from 1st to 2nd, I can prolly get down to low 14s. Hopefully Royal Purple MTF will fix the issue.

I launched between 3500 and 4000rpm. I think it works better than launching at rev limiter.

I know our 3400 foot elevation here sucks, I just feel sorry for the Denver guys. Ouch.

Good times!

How is 14 flat unbelievable? I mean if you think about it, if someone got 14 flat and someone else got 14.8 both stock Si's, .8 seconds isn't long at all.

Please define learn how to drive. Launching a few hundred RPM above or below "recommended" RPM can throw off your 1/4 time by a few milliseconds. Improper tire psi can also do this. So can shifting too early or too late. It's all about the driving abilities buddy. Not all about hp.
