This wasn't in a street race. It was a female in a Porsche. The pics were posted over a year ago. She was talking on her cell phone and hit the booths at over 100 mph

Why cant you and others read the constitution???? or are we in communist russia now where you cant talk how you want to.
People like you are idiots trying to tell others what they can and cant do.

If you got rid of women/elderly drivers it would save many more lives than getting rid of street racing.
I go to school in San Antonio Texas and they are awful awful drivers everyone drives so slow and it leads to so many accidents, why can people in Texas not drive?
If I am doing 100 mph on the high way the only way someone will get hurt is if they switch lanes with out looking which is there fault

There are several reasons why posts and threads based on street racing are not tolerated, one of them being very simple.. It's stupid.

I understand that it's fun to haul ass and everything, but you should probably consider a couple of things like:

1) so you're a good driver (or so you believe), awesome. How good is the kid driving the ricer that just revved at you? How about the lady in traffic up ahead that's lost and trying to get directions on the cell phone? How about most other people in general? It's awesome that you believe in yourself and all, but I would be worried about all the other people out there that can't drive for crap.

2) Have you ever thought about the fact that the human body was never meant to go 120+mph? There's a reason why people can't run that fast cool guy, you're made of flesh and bone, not kevlar and steel. If you or the guy next to you screws up there's a good chance that you'll both be killed.

Remember Pickles?

1. That is the dumbest thing I have heard the lady shouldnt be on the cell phone and she should know how to drive properly otherwise DONT ****** DRIVE, its not a right its a privelege.
2. Not many people can run 10, 20, 30 mph does that mean we should never drive over 10 mph? dumb statement/argument

I agree with this part

You are a moron if you believe that. People adjust lane changes by looking in the mirror. then changing....if you look one second and it's clear and your ass is crossing 3 lanes of traffic at 100 mph, you will be next to that same driver in 2 seconds. It is YOUR fault. No one else

Actually this site is privately owned and operated, when you register you agree to abide by the rules set by the owner of the site, which includes no street racing posts. If you have a problem with those rules the only course of action you can really take is to log out.

1) If you honestly think that it's more dangerous to drive 60 mph on the cell phone than it is to do 140 in traffic I don't know what to tell you. Most accidents caused by someone on a cell phone ends up in exchanging insurance information, most street racing accidents end up in toe tags. Get it?

2) If that statement is so dumb then why don't people jump out of their cars @ 100mph? Could it be because they're made of soft tissue and not metal? The human body was not meant to travel at such high rates of speed, and doing so can result in serious bodily injury (rightfully so). Just because we've gotten used to it doesn't mean that it's natural.. That was my only point.

1. I never said that and never have done near 140 before and yes it is very dangerous to be on a cell phone at any speed

Speeding is not much different from street racing, still dangerous and still illegal, and im sure every single person on this board is guilty of speeding at one time or another... true though keep it on the track, but these threads are worthless people are going to do what they are going to do, a couple pictures wont break some peoples ricer racer mentality.

if thats the case there needs to be a forum rule banning any thread talking about speeding on public highways.

If your going to ban all streetracing threads you might as well ban all the threads asking how fast you have gone/top speed threads too.....if your goin 80 racing another car or doin a top speed run at 132 either way your being dangerous. Then we could trickle down to all the 75mph and over threads.....then the posted limit..... gimme a break. Stop throwing out ideas, wether you are being sarcastic or not, that suck for everyone.

They try and have a fair balanace here, shaded towards the conservative side....stop being a Bush/Chaney and suggest taking away liberties.
