'07 Civic Si v.s. '00 Eclipse GT
Hey guys, just a quick question. Not trying to bring up street racing or anything, I'm just wondering this...
My friend (who is a girl) just got a 2000 Eclipse GT V6 and I went for a drive in it with her and I seriously think my Si could beat it. What do you guys think?! The Eclipse makes 205HP so it's not much more than the Si but of course it has more torque being a V6. Now her car is really nice and it is pretty fast, but it seems like the Si could take it once it hits v-tec and stays in it. On thing about the Eclipse is it sounds AWESOME! lol you can't hear it inside the car but outside when she revs it, that engine/exhaust sounds so good lol. So what do you think, Si or Eclipse GT?! |

Thank you! lol, I thought it would. She's a really good driver too and her car's standard but I dunno, the Si just goes when you get up there.
I took her for a ride and she was really impressed at how fast the Si was lol, her exact reaction was "OH WOW!" plus the sound of v-tec will do that to ya lol |

But yeah I love how the Si sounds, very nicely tuned stock exhaust and the engine itself is just a beast. |
