me vs srt-4

Okay i've read many threads stating that the srt will take this race, but here i go... this is the story.
.
.
.
So my buddies and i were just drinking one night and some guys came in, we got along and everything untill they started talking about cars... results that supposedly im the fastest out of a EF v-tec with b18, EG with an Ls v-tec, a 240sx with an sr-20det... okay so the guy has a neon srt-4, my buddy which is his brother claims to be stock! on the other hand i have this....... BCRH,CAI,IMG,REFLASH,COILS, and 225's on front. Running 9.2s 1/8mile with my 2 12's on the back... Who do YOU think might win...
OH BTW $100 bucks are in the line =/

Is the race from a roll or dig?

Also, what year is the srt-4? The 04-05 models produced more power than the 2003.

it all depends on how good the drivers are at launching. But I would think the srt-4 would be spinning pretty bad b.c of the power and theres turbo lag giving the si the advantage off the start.

It's good that you guys are going to be doing it on the track. I seriously have to say that he's gonna win. SRT-4's quarter miles average around 13.8-14.2 stock. And some great drivers may even go faster. Another thing that he might win is because of his tires. The come stock with BFG KDW 2, which is a really good street tire.

It's all gonna come down if he can drive or not. If he miss shift and you capitalize, you're might win.

make sure teh srt-4 is stock and then you MIGHT have a slim chance. but my money would be on the srt-4.

FYI, with the mods you have no one is over 210 whp...so a srt-4 will still have an advantage due to its power.

i think it should be pretty close. just launch the car good and you should be golden. also to guarantee your win unplug a spark plug wire. that should do the trick.

im gonna have to say you are going to win. your car should be capable of 13.5-14.0 and if hes stock im thinking you might edge him out.

also are you two racing to the finish line and who ever hit the finish first is the winner? cause in that case just make sure your in a good lane and try to tree him and you should really win.

^yes....you might have ran low 14's stock, but the majority of people are only pulling mid-high 14's. so we will need to assume he is an average driver.

very true...and to be fair an average driver in an 04-05 srt4 should be able to run 14.0 stock with minimal effort. For the record i think you will lose the race.

The average I personally have seen from SRT-4 drivers is more in the 14.2-14.4 range. I ran a 14.9 stock on all seasons in my Si. Then again I see lots of people running 15s in FG2s. I think he has a chance at least against the SRT...

haha thanks

For SRTs a 13.8 is a great time stock, and our cars 14.4 is a great time stock, hes got a decent amount of mods. I think its going to be 80% driver and 20% SRTs massive torque with this one.
