This thread is awesome. It just shows how well Honda actually setup the Si stock. I wonder if the HFP suspension would be slightly better or would have the same problem as the Tein?

I auto-x'd all season with my SI with nothing but a K&N drop in, the difference between my car and an SI with track tires was massive, like 10 seconds almost in g-stock. I have to say that the best thing you can do is put your ass in the seat and race, then some more then some more. Look for other auto-x clubs, most SCCA events don't get a you a lot of runs for your day so look for the BMW guys or the SHO or mustang clubs, they usually use similar courses and you see a lot of the same people too and you can get a bunch more runs in too.

WRONG. Civic Si is eligible for STU. STU simply builds on the STX allowances and resrictions which builds on the STS allowances & restrictions. Nothing prohibits someone running an STS Civic (EF) from running STU in fact.

STU is for STi's and EVO's whereas STX is for the WRX.

The Civic couldn't go to STU, as that class is for cars that are excluded from STS or STX, such as the E36 and E46 M3, the RX8, and the STi and EVo, just to name a few.
