For Solo2 autox if I get the Megan braces the whole set for my car will that disqualify me from that class?

Yes. Mods for stock class basically consist of the following:
Wheels (Same diameter & width, must be within something like 5mm offset)
Tires (free)
Exhaust (cat back, no header/exhaust)
air filter (FILTER, not an intake)
Front Sway bar (free)
Shocks (free)

That's pretty much it. I may have forgotten something but it's not much. Stock is mostly stock. Those braces are definitely going to bump you a class. It's been awhile since I've looked at the rule book for that but I *think* it puts you straight to DSP (new suspension mounting points) or Mod.

ALso alignment within the factory adjustment, 2 sets of factory camber bolts make about -.8 degrees up front, only real chance is to play wiht Toe settings to get that sucker to rotate. Unless you gonna play wiht a staggered setup

I put up a post on how to get BMW rear shocks to work on the Civic. They were for sale, but I have since decided to keep them. However, there's nothing stopping anyone from doing what we did... All about the same money that a full set of those worthless braces would run you.

Free meaning...you're allowed to, then? Sorry, I'm an Auto-X n00b looking to be competitive in the stock class and want to know what's allowed. There's also a compound limitation on the tires? R, is it?

Free means that it's open to modification with (basically) no requirements.
Tires are R-comps. I put free since it's hard to find true slicks
exhaust was screwed up too, it was supposed to be no header/cat converter
Front Sway bar can be removed or changed provided it mounts in the stock location.
shocks can be changed as long as they mount in the stock location.

Basically you just can't change the way things attach. Also, as far as the exhaust goes, it must exit behind the driver and some tracks/venues have noise regulations that you must abide by. Otherwise, a straight pipe with a downturn is completely acceptable.

HFP suspension includes springs so it is illegal. You can run the HFP shocks if you want.

well, if you're lowered they'd know because your car looks different. If you mean something like bracing or something else that isn't easily seen, they won't unless they get under the car. You will though. Would you rather get 2nd playing fair or win by cheating? Hell, you can buy a trophy for the same price as an entry fee.
