The Si is not cheaper cuz I looked at some wrx they cost more I would have bought one if it was cheaper than 21K

the wrx cost about as much as an Si, if you add the amount that you will spend AFTER you put turbo & exhaust on your Si.

yeah an 2000 bodystyle Si is 8k-11k
& the next body style up is 12k-16k

so the Si is still cheaper no matter what year your talking about.
You can compaire a 2003 any car to 2007 new car and talk about price, of course its gonna be cheaper. But a used turbo car I WOULD NEVER BUY because what ever you are gonna try to do or race the old owner probably RACED THE HELL OUT OF IT already, so your just buying somes raced out used car!!!!!!!!

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR

what the hell is wrong with you lol you think your si with the ti-c exhaust could stand a chance against a 4 wheel drive turbocharged car?

if you wanted a deal you shouldve done that hatch with k20 engine....it would be all good except for all the headaches with getting the engine in there... the STi is a great car..its also 10 k more get a turbo and more bolt ons and reflash

Yea I considered the STI...till i got my insurance quote of 800/mo...
That took care of that idea..lol...
Also supra but got same insurance result but more..
One day own a supra....till then I'm debating on selling my Si and getting an EG with no car payments and mod it....or Keep my Si and mod it...
I just feel like...why mod an SI when you can swap the K20 into a hatch and itll be so so much faster in the end and in the start?

so you wanna pay that full 21k for your car just to take out the motor to swap to a 2k car thats probably going to cost more in insurance?

no no, I'm saying why try modding your 21k Si when it will never be faster than a hatch k20? hatch k20 also is a fraction of the Si price....
Is it for the extra luxury?
