Never? I beat a DC2 that had a JDM K20A Type R motor... by a good amount!

I wouldn't call that never...

And stock WRX's are slow. I can beat stock STI's, and hang with modded ones decently.

I have some more stuff done than you, but you said never so...

I dont know about you guys, but I personally think the Si is a better looking car. I respect the WRX alot and considered it before I choose the Si, but to me buying a car that is already turbo charged is kind of cheating. There is something meaningful about fixing up a car that is slower than your opponent's in stock trim and blowing to doors off of him at the track. But I always root for the underdog. Plus I didn't want to jump in on the WRX bandwagon, but I'm kind of old school and like to reminisce on the days when Honda was king (excluding supra, fairlady, and FD3S) - before the WRX was around.

ignorance is bliss... i guess you should tell us what the "Bang" in your buck your looking for... if its power then for god sake man go buy a SRT4 and tinker with. its a piece of crap but i guess thats what you mean by "bang"
then there you go

i drove everything before i bought my fa5 and i felt the Si was the best bang for the buck

with subaru i would have spend some seriouse cash before i got any options.
for more money from subaru same year WRX 07
i got non supportive seats
no navi
no sunroof
nothing really at all except a a 230hp motor... thnxs but my 25k+ will go further else where

lets not even talk about mitsubishi

i cant drive around my girl friend in a swapped older civic thats rattling our teeth with its required solid mm

drove the GTI with all options (navi, sunroof...) for 10k less i was comparing to a better looking sidan

mazda is a car company i notice but would never purchase

Nissan senta... nasty pos

toyota/scion ...i left the dealership laughing

anything domestic... poor quality, bad resale, ugly as hell; although i think for some reason you and your kind would fit in well here

learned my lesson with high powered mistakes early cause i was trying to make it on my own. i just couldnt afford tires, pads, troubleshoot, fix, gas, etc... (not that the regular wrx is one of them) this is one of many reason why honda doesnt have a turbo civic. civic is built perfect for a DD with alot more i mean alot more to offer than AWD and 2.4 turbo unless of course you dish out 33k+.

y is everytime someone doesnt like a particular car they call it a pos.
What car to get depends on people preferences..
you want reliabilty dont mod your car. guess what u makin over 300 lbs/tq at the wheels on engine designed for half that things eventually gonna break over time..
you want power for cheap buy SRT-4..
you want good all-around high performance import go EVO or STi..

try parking that thing. see if you can find it when you get back.

'07 Si = babe magnet, comfortable, reliable, and decently fast daily driving.

I was at the track 4 battle of the imports in cali and there was a new 07 WRX behind me after our runs I asked him wat he ran he showed me the slip a 14.72 and I ran a 14.62 so I would have beat him even the new ones aren't that fast stock that is

the new ones are slower, i also drove my friends 06 wrx and i wasn't impressed at all, i felt my SI was equally as fast if not faster and i love driving my SI, it is actually fun, while the Wrx is not.
