2 kills 2 loss... (Si)

Ok so I just get my car today, and commense to do my personal break in... Pure stress on the motor, 4th-5th gear pulls...

Anyways, so I rack up 144 miles in a few hours and I decide to head out to the hangouts... Immediately this blue type-s tries to race me, I ask him what he's got and he says intake and sawed off muffler.... cough*bullshit*caugh, That shit was idling ruff and on decel it was popping left and right like an srt4, plus he has 3 heads in the car.... I knew I was gonna loose, but I said f-it and just ran him... 2nd gear roll at 6k rpms, he beeps and immediately jumps like 2 cars.. when we shut down it I was in 5th and he had like 4-5 cars on me... He just kept going after that, but for sure he was camming and lower vtec...

I raced a hatch with a 92 b16 and a coupe with a 00 b16 with si tranny.. I beat both of them off the line and from a roll. The hatch from a 3rd gear roll I had him by like 2 2 1/2 cars, and the coupe was just a waste of gas... All of the cars have min. I/H/E... OVerall Im very happy with the car and the ride is incredible, I just have to get used to that DBW that keeps the revs up, its kinda annoying, and also to the downshift...

Yes sir, motors I build are always broken in like this... Perfect compression and no blowby extremely quickly...

He had 3 people in the car? How many did you have? 3 people at about 200lbs each is adding about 600lbs to the car. And weight is the enemy of these torqueless cars. I know your still breaking in but 4-5 cars?

I dont see how he jumped two cars right off... can you drive? (not being an A$$) 400lbs from the two other people should bring the Si and the hatch close to the same weight. 2200lb stock to 2800lb stock. Anyway... I feel it should have been a little closer. Find that guy and see what he has. People with modded cars saying they are stock is stupid.

Where do you get that the Si weighs 2200lbs? They both weigh roughly 2900lbs give or take.

dood. you're crazy if u think a 92 si hatch w b16 weighs 2900lbs. its around 2200-2300 lbs. my 95 ex coupe w/ b16b weighed 2600lbs

I got confused myself, I was thinking of the Type-S and meant to say Type-S instead of Si. Sorry about that man.

I wasn't taking about the hatch. That was a seperate paragraph. He mentioned people being in the Type-S, not the Si.

I raced the type-s, and he said he had only intake and exhaust. Which was bullshit, he either sprayed on me, or had a whole lot of other shit on his car... There is no driver in the world that would've made a difference in this particular case. It was a roll and I was already in vtec when we took off..

Overall Im happy with the performance of the car. I love the handling, the style and the base powerplant... Be prepared for spray as I go back right my wrongs. I just picked up a spare block for $250 with no pistons just crank That is getting built.

My next run is a black si navi with I/H/E. Im running him off the hole since I have no chance any other way... I know im a better driver than hiim and when he shifts he lets go of the ACC, with that lag I should be able to get him
