Even more wins for the si...

Sorry, Im not the best story teller and there are too many races to post stories about...

Wins
cobalt ss (exhaust)
99-00 civic si (I/E)
Ep Si (I/E) Whored this guy so nasty.... I bogged in first, then the shifter popped out of second and I still ran a train on this poor Ep...

2006 type-s (story below)

Loss
Gti Turbo, stage 2 reflash, boosted, Intake and exhaust... 200whp and 240lb/ft to the tires.

Off the line we were together and then after each gear he would gain on me, we shut it down at about 110 and he had about a car infront.. Then we raced rolling and he put about 1.5 on me. Full bolt-ons and I would've either been next to him or slightly infront... Remember im completely stock with the paper tag..

And the run that made my night... A 06 type-s with 2 weeks out of the dealer.. We both had paper tags and completely stock(btw they use the same foglights as us...). He had a passenger.. From a stop, it was no competition(I dont think they have lsd) so we decided to do a 1st gear roll.
We popped vtec at the same time and shifted 2 2nd together, then after each gear I would gain a lil bit, top end was mine(5th gear), we stopped at end of fith and I put about 1 1/2 fenders...

Over all, the type-s is completely the same in terms of performance and gearing.. I took him but its definately a drivers race. I got his number so he is gunna start hitting up miami spots with him.. He actually brought me to 2 good ones that I had never known about.. Anyways, keep on the look out as I venture into the last weekend that Imma be all motor.... 75 shot here we come... Stay tuned..

i went against a type-s but i'm not sure what year it was. Ithad metal tags, are there any new body features to tell if it was an 06? I had not trouble taking him fro 40mph and then from a stop so...

I doubt it was an 06 then, or maybe the guy couldnt drive. Because these cars are paired up nicely. That hp difference is just marketing BS..

yeah i've never hit vtech in6th either, never really needed to. however i did notice that if you don't redline it in 5th you won't go anywhere once you shift into 6th.

When I raced the rsx he says he hits vtec in 6th. But I dont think hes right because he said he hit 6th when we were racing the 350z, but I only got to top of fifth not even redlining and we have the same gearing.

Same gearing except 6th gear. RSX Type S revs higher in 6th than our Si

Wait a minute... does 06-type S have same fog-light as 06 SI ??? Did I read that correctly ( so that means fog lights are interchangeable ?) ...?
