R18 at the track with videos!

Well i went to the track again on friday night, i ran it 3 times in the 1/8 mile.

I smoke 3 cars, i 04 corrola badly, a 03 dakota and some old car that ran 11's(the second video was my first run agains him)

First run was a 10.5 and second run was 10.3 but lower alsmot a 10.2 lol.(the first video is of the 10.33 not the 10.31)
I lauch it at 4k rps and feather the clutch, tire pressure on front was 30 and 40 on back(18 inch rims dont help me eather i could be running better if i had some smaller rims), temperature was around 80 degrees.

here is my best time slip.

R/T .830
60 ft 2.314
594 ft 9.638
1/8 mile 10.311
at 66.96 mph

That was agains the corrola and am downloading video right now on youtube.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zfKQSzS4PHY ^^--- second run 10.3
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ze1LXJKTykQ ^^ ---- first run of the day 10.5

I dont have a video of the 10.31 but i have the time slip if anyone want to see it.

Has anyone hit 9's in the 1/8 mile with an r18?

why did you run 1/8 instead of 1/4 mile? Is the track that short or something?

I have injen cai and jdm n1 exhaust and twm shortshifter and bushings, and the closes track to me is this one wich happens to be 1/8 of a mile, i will love to run it in the 1/4 but the closes one to me is like 1 hour away and i don't know where it is, i just hear of it.

am sure i can hit high 9's if it wasn't for my 18 inch rims.
I did not powershift am sure i can get better times if i do also.

i have trap a speed of 70mph before on this track.

Thanks, i just want to hit 9's at this time, am sure i can.

i might add the header and downpipe next and might change my rims to something smaller. am sure i can do way better specially if i work on my R/T.

then i can keep up with the Si's, most that i have seen have done around 9.4 to 9.7 in the 1/8 on average stock , am sure there are better and worst times for the Si, so am super proud of my little R18 engine .
