What RPM are you guys launching @? (Si)

Ok I still don't see how some of these 06 Si's are running 14.9~14.8 bone stock? My guess is these guys gotta have the summer tires b/c these pilots suck! My best run stock, was a 15.3 and another FG on here ran a 15.0 what RPM are you 14'sec stock people launching at?? I tried 3 grand and spin like a mother..no grip..well my times should be much better later this week after some more goodies go on

You dont want to spin the tires hardly at all when launching, that's what slows you down.

well u gotta feather the clutch, but idk from what i hear i-vtec gives u guys more low end torque then one would expect a 2.0 to have. I would think w/ the LSD and fairly wide tires u guys have u should be able to launch fairly high. an experianced racer i talk to said when he would launch his brother's prelude he would just rev it to just below vtec and that gave them the best launches. He ran 14.87 w/ a stock spec v and 14.1 or 14.2 with a 6 speed maxima w/ just intake

my car needs to be launched real high to get good times, but i think u guys have a good amount more low end

Launching at five doesnt work.... I say anywhere between 3.5-4k. Anything after that is just a waste of tire and anything before that, would put you way before vtec once you take off.
