I could understand if this was an si vs. (insert other make/model here) thread, but a civic vs. an accord. The accord's purpose in being built is to be the next step up from the civic. It's more luxurious, the coupe has a cleaner design (imo), has more power, more tq, etc. etc. and this was all done on purpose... to outperform the level of car below it in every way. Granted, they sacrificed handling for looks, but unless you're in the twisties just go into thinking that your going to lose and just be happy if any other outcome actually happens.

your forgeting that in this particular instance the si has CAI/E which could make the difference against a stock v6 accord

exactly, everyone says "it's a drivers race" but if both are stock the facts are that the accord is just the faster car

if both drivers are good the accord will still win

but if the si is modded then that's a diff story, just race

No it doesn't, and it has nothing to do with it. Engines can make power with 1 cam, 2 cams, even 4 cams if need be. There is a lot more to how much an engine makes power-wise than how many camshafts it has rotating around.

That is all in the eye of the beholder. I'm a huge race fan, and i measure things to the thousandth of a second. So to me, a car that is .5-.7 seconds quicker to 60 is wayyyy faster. In the real world, that is nothing, but in the race world (where this forum is) That is an ass whoooopin

You will need like I/RH/E Reflash and then you can beat a 6spd accord
