first time results, with slip 14.90 @ 93.9

14.90 @ 93.9 mph

mods: injen CAI, skunk 2 70mm, OEM all seaons. stock tire pressure, no burn out. spare tire and jack removed.

I beat 2 cobalt SS S/C.... surpisingly. everyone there said "they've never seen an si in the 14's." and a few people whatching me said after i ran a 15.1 five times, "that i'd never break into the 14's" but i did. first time at a track ever in any car. I power shifted into 3rd and 4th. launched at 3k rpms a let it out kinda quick.

well my first run was a 15.3 and i never went slower. with a terriable launch and 85 degree weather.

Do you have a hab red? My friend Jethro ( blue cobalt SS) called me and asked where I was at. I am usually there every wednesday. He said he thought your car was mine becuase we both have loud exhausts! Awsome times though. It took me 5-6 times last year to hit 14.9, and I havent been able to do it again. I am always at 15.05-15.1

Don't do a burn out. Those all seasons are not ment to opperate in the temperature range that a burn out causes. They will start to break down and become slick. Only the stickiest street rubber would benifit from a burn out because that kind of tire is designed to opperate at its best at those higher temps.
