Shifter Balkiness in High G Corners

Has anybody else experienced the shifter getting balky during high G corners? I had to make a couple of 3-4 shifts at WSIR while in mid corner. I know one shouldn't do that but...So in turns 2 and 6, both high speed right hand corners, grabbing 4th became difficult. No grinding, just a difficult time engaging the gear.

I know that e36 M3's had an issue with chassis flex that led to a bunch of missed (read money) shifts. Has anybody else experienced this with the Si, or was it just my poor driving that day? FWIW I never have any shifting issues on the street.
