Lowering seat?

I'm 6'2 and auto-X alot, when i have my helmet on i can't get into an ideal seating position because my head rubs the headliner.

Is there an easy way to lower the seat, 1/2 inch would make a huge difference.

thanks

Maybe try another helmet instead? What type of helmet do you have? I've got an HJC C5 cheapy (still DOT and Snell 2005 though ) and can just manage it at 6'1". Some of the more expensive helmets are smaller and leave more room. Tried a really nice Shoei helmet but they wanted $400 CAD for it!

I was sort of wondering the same thing. One of the things I miss about my S14 is the seats; they were nice and low. The hight adjustment thing seems to only go up and that is really annoying.

Humm Im 6'1 and use a Simpson Cruiser M00 open face helmet. I have all kinds of room. Is the seat lowered all the way. Not to sound rude. But pull up on the arm to raise and push down on the arm to lower. You knew that right?

yeah

Its also a safety issue too, ghetto makes it more likely you'll go under the lap belt if you crash. i plan on track days in the future

got a cheap pryotech helmet, i already blew my budget on 235/40/17 falcon 615 and 17x8 rims. just looking for a way to lower the seat (further than the lowest setting)
