I have everything off anf the windows up during an actual race so I can be completly focused on what I am doing. However leading up to the race I generally listen to metal and always stick in "Fat Bottom Girls" by Queen. I know thats I weird one but for some reason that song always gets me pumped up!

That album is huge in Europe. I spent some time in Hungary this past year for work and heard his songs in every club I went to.

i dont know about that but to each his own. I loved it until i played it out. It sounds so epic with drums and the paino sounding key board.

If its a race or a cayon carving session, It the sound of tires squealing, gears changing, heal/toe down shifts and VTEC screaming. I used to blast the music but not being able to hear whats going on can get you in to trouble. When i did listen, its something hard and fast like System of a down's frist or Slipknot's first, or Static X's Wisconson death trip, or Incubus's S.C.I.E.N.C.E.

I try not to listen to music when I'm going fast. I like to listen to the engine.

Some SOTY or LP will suffice.
