14.776 best time at california speedway 2/10

r/t-- .329
60'-- 2.338
330-- 6.383
1/8-- 9.648
MPH-- 75.59
1000-- 12.423
1/4-- 14.776
MPH-- 96.07

my best of 3 runs today. first time ever drag racing. 3/4 tank full of gas, stock all season tires, 230 lbs driver.

i imagine 1/4 tank of gas, sticky tires, practice, and reflash maybe 14.0-13.9?

the reason i am optomistic about a very low 14 or 13.9 is that my first run i was at 15.896 (2.643 -60'), second run 15.498 (missing second gear for the longest). which i knew was driver error because i have injen cai, hondata img, ssr race header, and skunk2 70mm exhaust.

anyone also think that the strip at the california speedway seems to have a hump on it? anyhow, i was just happy to bring the time down over a second.

i also saw a red si there on the first series of runs, i think was in group 3 with me, but ran just before i did. anyone here?

I was sitting there watching you run...I was kinda next to you in the begining..I was where the Volkswagens were. I had the red hat on and red shirt..near the ticket booth. And damn your car is LOUD! I was so pissed off because header on my car cracked and it through off my o2 sensor. But good job on that last run

april 7th is the next race. gates open at 6am, tickets sold at 7am, and races started about 8ish. there are normally 8 groups of 50, and each group takes about 25 minutes. i ran 3 times, but could have ran again at least once. after i went to dave and busters for lunch and some brews. (it's 10 minutes away).
you gotta be there at 6am or before to make sure you have a spot to race.

humidity per a website called wunderground weather, was max today 88 and average was 60.

temp was max 73f and mean temp was 60f.

i launched the first time at rev limit 5500 and 30 psi in the tires. that was the bad launch.

the best launch was at about 3500 to 4000 rpm same tire psi.

I have a silver si...with the piece of sh** DC Header lol

I loved the way it sounded when it passed the finish line...I'm definitely getting the SSR header.

Last time I went to the track I ran a 14.7 with Greddy Evo 2...DCRH...Injen Cold Air...Hondata Reflash..HOndata IMG...and Falken Azenis...But it was my first time learning how to burn out in the box and learning how to launch so Im expecting low 14' or maybe high 13's next time

i'll see if my bro is home right now, and maybe get some sound clips tonight.

it is very loud with the silencer on, and insanity with it off.
