For an 06+ Si your 60 foot is low, that's why your trap speed is lower.

At the risk of having someone who hasn't driven THIS CAR at the track attack me, I would tell you to get a little more wheelspin on your launch. Your trap will rise, your 60 foot will rise too but the overall net effect will be a quicker time.

There is a definite tradeoff between good 60 foot and good ET in the 06+ Si. Simply going after the best 60 foot will not get you the best time. I personally believe this is due to VTEC. When I got low 60's my car would hook-up around 4000rpms and have to run up to 5800rpms, then crossover, then continue to accerelate. This resulted in a lower trap and higher ET. When I wheelspinned the launch and hooked at 5801rpms+ there was no VTEC power delay and although my 60 went up my ET dropped by a few tenths.

The best stock ET's I ran were 14.7's with a 2.3x 60 foot. If my 60 foot was any lower or higher than 2.3x I ran a 14.9+.

FYI - I drop the clutch at 5500rpm in the middle of summer at the track to get 2.3's (very little clutch feathering required).

Well i Got 14.884@94.83 with 2.380 and i have a cai but i felt alot of spinning and was thinking of some slicks.
Has anyone tried slicks and just drop the clutch at 5.5K. I bet i can hit a 14.5 with just an intake and the slicks.

The bog is killer on track times. If you are hooking too quickly after dumping the clutch at 5500rpms you might want to try the 1 second burnout technique. Pull into the burnout box, spin your tires around twice and drive out. Hopefully you'll be able to generate a little more wheelspin on your launch

The whole trap thing questions me too.
With ajp ported intake/dcrh/evo2/hondata/injensri I was able to pull on my buddies 04 mustang gt who has just intake and catback--he traps at 100 every time. I would think that my car is also at trapping at 100.

Now Im getting ride of the dcrh, ajp ported intake, and my current honda flash, only to read in other forums that a guy ran low 14's and trapped at 100 only once in his comptech supercharged si..

that better have been a traction issue---

im curious to see what im getting myself into---hope im satisfied

would like to have went ajp---but 3.3k vs about 6-7k the way i would like it is a good enough pacifier for me.

whats done to the other 14.2@97mph car? cause it looks as someone is trying to bite off my times cause i have seen no one get that mph out of a stock car besides me!

That looks about right considering your mods.I've yet to hit above 95.00 but my 60 ft is generally in the 2.3/2.4 range.
