1st AutoX of the year in Miami FL..Lots of pics!

So the first autox down here was celebrated at the old Hialeah horse track last Sunday 1/28. Organized by the SCCA with more than 100 customized cars from all classes, great food & good weather throughout most of the day, made this event a real blast!
Some of the pics..

Entrance..the door guy with blue the EVO seemed pretty excited lol

Onto the track

Many of the cars parked along the way

Waiting to race

and my favorite..the rolling shots!!

this camaro was a real track monster

What kind of camera did you take those with? I have a new Sony Cybershot 8.1 megapixel digicam, and it won't take pictures anywhere near that quality level.

Also, I didn't see any 8th gen Civics in there...did you see any?

I have a Nikon D50..you may be able to get some shots like these with yours. You just have to practice panning, which is moving the camera with the car as it is passing by. It takes lots of practice to get good shots..I'm still learning, but thanks for your comments :)

there were two FG2s, a blue one and mine..

Nice pictures, I love the panning effect. I've wanted to try it out but have never had the chance.

I envy the weather there and all the cars you got to see. Must have been a ton of fun.

I'm surprised to see a Noble M12 in the bunch, along with that Aston.
