Neither the SI

He will lose pretty bad no doubt about it. (Assuming that both drivers are equally good.)

Is like a SI vs a (I/H/E) SI.

I used to spank modded preludes with my I/H/E S14 and there was no way my car was a 14 sec car.

But really, it always depends on the driver.

A lot of people just look at the specs but the performance K-series' have a better power curve than H22's (or any B-series motor). Doesn't make THAT huge of a difference in a straightline, but the torque does.

the Si and the driver weigh in at over 3000lbs too. I raced a lude that had I/H/E in my GSR that had an I/H/Highflow cat/E and a grounding kit an i lost by half a car length after we both had good lanches. So i'd say the Si "should" win unless you can't drive.

FA5 here.. i've raced a 03 RSX-S w/ CAI/RH/E and spanked it by 2 cars or so.. RSX-S's launches are horrible.. and he have beat a 00 Prelude w/ i/h/e by (oh lord, 3 cars maybe?).. so i say the Si should move on the Lude.. just my thoughts.. btw.. my mods are injen intake, comptech short shfiter when i raced him (now i have a DCRH).

P.S. factory HP & TQ doesnt conclude how quick the car is.. there's many things such as.. weight, driver, launch, shift, powerband, etc. and most FG&FA owners do pretty well w/ all of the above i've listed. some reason, k-series owner tends to PWNED most cars.. K-power FTWWWW!!

yup,it all depends on the driver. Just look at my race between my 1.5 sohc hatch vs a mitsubishi evoluiton with I/E/down pipe.

preludes are as fast as integra gsr. gsr still wins the prelude though. but si. stock to stock no competition. si will walk on it anyday. Trust me full bolt ons and will be as fast as you stock. if drivers are equally good. your car is still new and the prelude is old. all those bolt ons and only gain the hp and torque that it lost, over the long years of passing owner to owner.
