Has anyone with the stage 2 kit have times yet. I'm very interested in getting this kit and wanting to know what it runs at the track. thanks!

for some reason no one has yet to post up any recent timeslips or vids. the last time there was time posted was by the ajp car itself when they had the boost low and the time was 13.5 i believe?

To be fair, they were not banging through the gears, nor were they on decent tires, if anybody wants to know why AJPs time was "high".

I saw the vid and it sure as heck looked like they were "banging" through the gears to me. I agree that the time would have been better with a better launch/better tires, but the trap speed is relatively low. With a fantastic launch the car may hit a high 12, but no better.

I also understand that it was only 7 psi and the turbo kit has a lot more in it.

No, compared to what some of these people here have been doing to get low times, AJP was not "banging" through. A quick shift doesn't equal abuse. Some of these people put their cars through hell. AJP is no exception because they know the car is going to handle it, but at the same time, when you have two to three times the original value of the car invested in it in parts, R&D, labor and tuning, with more money and time to be spent with it, I seriously doubt you're going to desire to completely rip through anything the first time you take it out to the track just to appease the drag guys.

They need some Hoosier's.

Well, I'd define what AJP was doing as "banging" and what the others do as utter destruction. Semantics...

Keep in mind that the tracks up North are closed for the season. You will have to wait until Spring time when they open before I post my numbers.

If it is anywhere in the 12s, then I'm gonna definitely get the kit.

I don't see any reason what-so-ever that mid-low 12's wouldn't be possible, just no one has really run the hell out of their cars yet. Only time will tell I guess..

i turned my navi on ... and did a 1/4 mile run out infront my house .... it's a lil longer than a 1/4 ... navi says when it's a 1/4 to entrance of my complex ...

to be fair ... it was a roling start ...

i was going really really slow ... gauge was reading about 3 mph ... judging from what the car did ... i'd say low 12 easilly ... my boy's stop watch said 11.79 ... factor in error, minus the roling start ... on drag radials i'd say somewhere around 12.3 for a best time with a good driver.

the car pulls crazy strong ... best it's ever felt .... track soon

PS:
for the guys with the kit ... or looking to get the kit ... i'd say get michelin pilot sport 2 as ur street tire ... i don't have drip issues, and they going strong with tread after 13+++ miles ... great in the wet, great in the dry, great around corners, great under boost, great silence, great ride, great tread life ... only downfall = great(as in high) price ....

I can't wait to see some slips from the track.. I would love to know what the kit can really produce.

I can believe high 11's with the right track and tires. I think the amount of HP that the ajp kit produces for our cars is perfect anything over 300 is just going to be alot wheelspin on an FF car.
