First time at the track!

3 Days before I leave for college so I figured I'd push my car for once. Been dying to run at Raceway park, but every time they have an event I can run at, it either gets rained out or cancelled.

Wasn't really expecting too much since it was my first time at the track, but looking to improve for the future!

idk too much about the track, but it looks like you did a great job, good run !!!

thanks man! and 14.8 is not that good in general with the mods I have, but at Raceway Park it's decent. At honda day this year 8ths were running on avg 15s so not too bad

ughhhh i suck at driving. i did 15.6 @92 and i have all the bolt ons in the world besides cams..

Great times though!

EDIT: how did u not spin as much...did u set your pressures?

not bad for first time Jeff a couple more times at the track and you will get around 14.4,you did real good with the quick shift

Vtak hit so hard your cobb accessport fell off

Anyways those r decent first time runs. Try to get your 60ft time under 2.3 and run 4th to limiter, don't shift to fifth.

Thanks man! I set the front two tires to around 25 PSI, the run before I ran a 15.0 and that was without lowering pressure so it helps a bit.

Nice times jeff i ran a 14.9 and trust me i am running alot of horses to the wheel just no grip but u need some drag radials and lower the pressure to about 18psi

More seat time is my advice. As for wheel hop issues preload your car using the e-brake method or get motor mounts. My car never hops anymore after the mounts.

I got a torque damper, but I'm aiming for boomba mounts eventually. Should I slip the clutch a bit more to spin the tires a bit more instead of hopping?

Yeh some slip is needed to avoid wheel hop.
