This event is held at Roebling Road Raceway in Savannah, GA about an hour and a half north of Jacksonville. I would like to see more import fwd car enthusiasts out there. Last time it was me and 3 other Hondas.... lol So hopefully some of you can make it out!

1. REGISTRATION
Is ONLINE at http://www.clubregistration.net

Club is: Dark Side Driving Events - slide bar down after you have registered your name
(only have to do that once - it's good for each registration after) and sign into our event.

2. TECH FORM
Your car needs to be pre-safety inspected for the event by a "qualified mechanic."
Please bring this to the track and present it to our tech team when they inspect your car.

Well if you've never attended an autocross/road course event then you would be in green group. Green group has 2 classroom sessions on Saturday and then 1 on Sunday. You are assigned an instructor who will help you out on your driving skills on the track.

Saturday you will get 4 sessions, Sunday you will get 5. All 20min a piece.

Yes, that is covered with the $250. The instructors are just people attending the event, they are not getting paid to do this. Also If you are attending the DE you can ride with any instructor around the track on their track session. So yes you can ride around the track in a Porsche' GT3 lol

Its not a big track, no bleachers or anything because its a private track. Anyone who goes into the infeild is considered as a " crew member " but obviously not everyone is. Its a SCCA practice course and a very fun one at that. They do hold all kinds of events all through out the year.

NEXT EVENT IS IN MAY FOR THIS GROUP. I will be posting a thread within the next couple months with information + pics from this event.
