Track Day Oil Starvation Concern..

Hello everyone.. I am really concerned about oil starvation now that I have more grip. (Progress 22m rear sway/ Falken RT615K/ Koni Yellow's/ Sportline springs/ Im very interested in a baffled oil pan but have yet to acquire. In the mean time I will be using my OEM pan. Am I just trippin or do I have things to worry about? The motor is not cheap, and I really dont want to destroy my baby. Its a duel purpose vehicle, race on Sunday, commute on Monday.

Drive it and enjoy it. I would say if its a dedicated track whore than i would look into a baffled setup.

Yeah i wouldnt worry right now. I have done 128 on a banked turn at cal speedway and had no issues. I think if you have a built motor then maybe. But it wouldnt hurt to do it if your really that worried.

You need to worry about it when you start running r comp's. A street tire shouldn't induce cavitation

Make sure you top off your oil on track days to help out with this, too.

I have also read that filling to the first twist on the dip stick is also a great idea for a track day.
