Button Willow

Hi all, how many of you out there track your car at Button Willow and if so what type of suspension set up and tire/rim combo are you using. I am planning on going out there and April and thought it would be nice to see some more si's out there.

when i tracked there last year i had 18x8.5 nt03 with 235/40 rs2. on skunk2 pro-c.

Its technical and there is a lot to learn. Focus on lines and if possible get a ride along with some one who knows what they're doing. There are a lot of areas where you will be hitting 100+ mph and braking to half that. Your brakes MUST be up for the task. And make sure your wheel setup wont be rubbing because for the correct line you're bound to hit the racing bumps often.

gluck ! i wish i could make it there in april but doing some new things to the car before i'm back at te track.

Thanks for the advice. So far i upgraded the pads to axxis ult and ate super blue brake fluid. I also have new Hankook evo 12 and so far they have felt great through the canyons, not as sticky as the R3s though....maybe i will get those next time along with some carbo tech brakes. How do you like the Skunk 2 pro Cs. I was looking into those as well as the tein mono flex

they're okay. Ierno what a good coil is or whats bad lol. I jus know it didnt cost me much

How are the pro-c's in terms of ride comfort? I'm not expecting them to be as comfortable as stock, just hope they're tolerable for daily driving.

4 door si, hfp suspension, front camber bolts, 235/40/17 on a 17x8 rim, I/H/E and
ran a 2.08 on configuration #13.

you should come out to Buttonwillow this June........DTLA will be in the house.

I think we will have about ten of our cars, if not more..........
