Who would win?

I'm wondering would would win from 0-60 and also quater mile?

Subaru WRX completly stock (probably 215 hp)

Honda Civic Si (probably around 210 hp)
-AEM CAI
-DCRH

I've done this on the track and beat the WRX, but friend of mine are saying that I would have gotten spanked? So what is it?

Well, I'VE never beaten one at the strip personally, but that's not to say that it can't be done. Against the stock ones it was fairly close. I am also at 5,000 feet elevation. If you say you beat him, then you did. just my 2 cents.

Hmmmm.... close one. I think if both drivers were very good, the WRX may come out a little ahead. Really, I think driving skills would be the deciding factor here.

From a dig(0 to 60) the wrx will have a pretty big advantage (awd). going from a roll i would give the SI the upper hand especially in the higher mph range.

I agree with this. My friend has an 06 WRX. He has upgraded a lot lately with bigger turbo and what not, but stock is not much faster than the Si if at all. From a dig he will jump out and then it will be even the rest of the way. From a roll.... like 35-40 mph in 2nd gear..... I think the Si will pull on him. I drive an Si and i've been in his WRX several times. They have a lot of torque down low but he has to shift at like 6000 rpm. Just take the Si to about 8 and you'll get 'em.

Good call my friend, when i had my 03 wrx i would have to shift at 6000 rom even though redline was 7000rpm. i would drop boost from 15lbs to about 5lbs at 7K. also this summer i got to go against a wrx wagon with some mods but not sure how much( could hear the turbo spool and saw a perrin exhaust) we went from a 80mpg roll, from 80 to 100 he had about 1.5 cars from 110mph and i kept on pulling pretty quickly.( i had just a aem short ram)

Si's rpms also rev faster than low rpm'd cars.

And how exactly does a high RPM car rev faster than a low RPM car?

What about around turns? My friend with a WRX says his car is better for turns than the Si.. He said mine can go into a turn faster but his can come out of a turn faster.. Summin like that... Is that true?

well kinda true depending on his driving technique. the SI will out handle the wrx and pull higher G ratio than the wrx. your enter speed(turn in) will be better than the wrx. a good wrx driver should drifting the corner and fight some understeer while doing so. unless it a snow or dirt road I'd personally take the SI with summer tires all day

dude, the wrx will own you. its AWD, if launched right it can cut great 60 foots. the newer 230hp models fall flat on there face after 110mph for some reason. either way, by the time that wrx shifts into 3rd im sure the SI will be atleast 3 cars behind it. From a roll, as long as he doesnt brake-boost, the SI should take em.
