chevy z71 vs civic si

I'm running 15.3's with a cold air intake and about 300 added pounds of music gear. The z71 ran a 15.6, but got me on the tree (I still cant launch, .8 light). Fun race tho, crept past him right at the end.

Now that proves that everybody always wants to race a Honda, regardless of what's under the hood. What's next? Someone with a Hummer will try to race an S2000?

First time I have seen the SI compared to a truck. I had a Dodge Ram 1500 with a HEMI. I am currious how fast my turck actually was. It seemedto be fast for a big truck but don't think it would keep up with my SI.

That makes me want to get in my Chevy C10 and race somebody. It burns so much gas that I hope i would finish the race if I ever race it against an Si.

I rented a 330 hp HEMI Dodge Durango one time and it did 0-60 in 7 sec (trust me :) ). Anything will go fast if you put a big enough engine in it!

A stock si vs a stock z71, the si should definitely win. If the z71 has some mods done, it will can get close. That's a heavy azz truck! My avalanche z71 will run pretty decent with just intake, exhaust, and programmer. It'll use 3 times as much fuel as a civic, but it'll keep up pretty well in the 1/4 mile. She'll pull the boat a lot better than a civic will though!
