I don't understand how lowering your tire pressure will help? from 32 to 25 psi?

I feel like the more air in the tire the faster you will go..

You mean the Honda looks like the Ion RL. That appears to be an 2004 Redline. In fact it is on 04.

lower tire pressure, the more surface area contacting with the pavement, get it?

If I'm thinking in my head correctly, when I used to launch with streets on my EP, I'd bring tire pressure to about 24 psi up front. At launch, hold at about 3.5 - 4k and let the clutch out in a quick fluid (not dumping motion) while keepin adaquate wheel spin to keep from bogging. Once the rubber grips, I slam it.

Now...I think this is the proper method and this is what feels right to me.

I'll try anything but as i've said I'm not dumping the clutch at 5k lol I don't like the tire spin when I dump it at 3.5k so I'm sure I won't like it at 5. Give me more advice BLU I know you're a smart guy

And thank you steve thats usually what I do but at about 3k.... My psi was 25 in front and 32 in the rear.... One more thing I got my tire fixed. I noticed when I went to take my PSI down at the track that they put all my tires at about 45psi when it's rated at 32. Should I say something to them?

When you don't let off of the gas. Just clutch it when shifting. You have to pop the clutch quick at the same time you shift.

I pulled a 2.1 60' on stock tires by doing this:

lower air pressure to 18psi in front tires, increase air pressure in rear tires to 45-50 psi.

hold a steady rpm at about 4500 rpms and right before launch romp it to the 5500 rpm free rev limiter as you slip the clutch for the launch. The rev process right as your launching helps carry the momentum into the driveline.

You will spin a bit but the spin will be much cleaner with less wheel hop and when you do hook up you will accelerate much quicker.
