sorry for the double post but I wanted to add that I have nothing bad to say about the way the rl performs. I hate the way it looks and that's what made me shy away from it. I found an 06 rl used w/6k miles for $14000 and it sounded like a good deal, but I couldn't get passed how ugly I personally felt it was. A lot of people think the new civic is ugly *ducks and hides* but to each his/her own.
As a full time student, resale value is everything to me right now and Honda's are known for that. Also, I just love the way that honda's look. Saturn's are not to be swept under the rug anymore.. they are actually on the creep up when it comes to being known as a good car. Sky Rl FTW!
I saw on the rl forum there was someone cracking a joke on kia's too. I hate kia's, but if anyone wants to deny that if they stay on the same track kia/hyundai (spelling?) will be equal to toyota/lexus/scion in the next 15 years they're not paying attention. Again, I hate kia's. I will end with that.

Yeah, you guys are cool. This whole debacle started off rocky and then just ended up funny. Redline's thread was a funny as this one. All the bickering sort of turned into comedy. First of all, you just contradicted yourself. You said that the 360 pwns the PS3 but went on to say the PS3 hasn't been released yet. How does it pwn something that's not out yet? You don't even need to answer that because my post had nothing to do with PS3 vs 360. You completely missed the point I was trying to make.

I was simply giving an example (other than my Si) where I would buy foreign vs domestic because (in my opinion) it is a better product. Did I buy a 360? Yes, I bought three, and made a nice amount of money selling all 3 of them. The last one I sold actually went towards my Si downpayment.

It was pretty much the same with the Si. I test drove a lot of cars but oddly enough, never test drove the Si before I decided I was going to buy it. Of course, I test drove a black one before mine came in, but I had already decided that I was buying it at that point.

get your nice little SATURN ION and tell an S2000 how you have 38+ more torque. the S2000 with laugh its ass off and blow your barn doors off all the way to 9,000 rmps.

stock vs stock at the end of the day its a drivers race, we're talking 2-3 tenths on a 1/4 mile here. We've all seen stock SI's run 14.6's or less. you're great torque numbers don't really add up to a lower 1/4 mile time. so basicly you can take torque and shove it up your asshole.

Yes please buy domestic, please the local mechanics need it, so they can stay in bussiness.

I've been over on their site. It's just as nuts over there as it is here. When it comes down to it. They are just as passionate about their cars as we are about ours. They're just as defensive as any car lover should be of the choice they made when they bought their car. A few of us (lol. you two know who you are ) went over there and did the same thing as they did here.

Si's rule. Cobalts rule. Redlines rule. It's all relative to wear you are when you pass the 1/4 mile mark. Everyone will keep getting their respective smack downs on the track. Marvie is single handedly going to deliver a blow to a good portion of the other makes and models out there that are expecting much less from one of our cars. I think I'm going to by him a superman cape. Super SIckyute. Poor Blu, he's getting hammered everywhere.

But I love my Honda. Nothing gets between me and my Si.
