i think the rods and crank stay till 600 HP but the pistons get replaced at 300 hp. even though we have more then one guy who has pushed over 300 WHP on the stock pistons.

He he, looks like the mods are out for the holiday on both our sites, and this crap has gotten way outta hand over there. I'm just here to be cool, meet some new folks, learn a little about your cars, and maybe teach anyone with an open mind a little about ours. And to see if there's anybody in my area that want's to meet up.

If that was the case they would have been designed like that from the factory, high revving reliable motors are huge selling point..

But..... they don't

Saturn?

This is hillarious. I don't think this is ever going to end. These guys obviously love their Saturns and we love our Hondas, lets just leave it at that. I would never buy a Saturn and by the way they are talking, they would probably never buy a Honda. It's pointless to keep arguing about this.

I guess reliability means a little more to us while their stock SC and torque mean more to them. That's fine. Everyone has their own reasons for buying a car.

So, let's look at some facts real quick.

06 Civic Si - 197hp All Motor
06 Ion Redline - 205hp Turbocharged (pulled from Saturn website)

The redline is making 8hp more at the crank WITH A SUPERCHARGER and these guys are trying to say its a superior motor. Obviously not or it would be making a lot more hp with the supercharger. Yes, or course it has more torque, but that's gonna happen when you supercharge a motor.

Even with the supercharger, it still costs less than an Si, because it sucks. Yes, your Saturn is faster than my car stock but that's only due to the fact that it's supercharged, it's not because its a better motor.

In the end of the day, you guys are still driving a SATURN, which until recently have been nothing but a joke. Honda's have been great cars for years.

Sorry if I offended any Saturn owners, but you can't come around here talking shit and not hear some yourself.
