Its kinda funny because on here we always hear about the si coming on top, but on clubrsx, its always to opposite.

Depends on a few variables, including the driver, but typically....the RSX-S. Better midrange. We've got a better top-end, but by the time we get to it, the S has the pull.

Personally, they're pretty equal to me. It'll be a driver's race IMO.

On a side note, do u know why the rsx droped back down to 200hp from the year where it was 210 Skittles??

New SAE rating guidelines..........same reason why SI is rated at 197hp. I dont believe that the 06 has any less power than the 05, even though the numbers suggest that it does.

I had read somewhere that the '06 Si has an engine balancer or something of that nature, which is why it is rated at 197 instead of 205. I don't recall exactly what it is, but the article did say that it limits engine movement; however, it also restricts a small amount of hp. I wouldn't think that it really restricts hp all that much. It's probably just Honda/Acura's way of making the potential RSX-S buyers believe that it's worth paying the extra $$ for the Acura.

The RXS-S doesn't utilize this stock engine balancer feature in order to free up a few extra horse. This way, people can justify spending 2-3K more for the possible 8 extra horse and leather seats, I guess??

I would rather have a smooth time up twards 6k+ than have a rough time for 8hp, it says somthing about it in the propaganda catalog. + the LSD is what sold me.

i watched two 05-06 type s's running around the same times as me at dragway 42 and i had the quicker times. They were asking me on launch techniques. I ran 14.9's all night and they were anywhere from 15.1-15.6

the bottom line is.....it's a drivers race. who cares what clubrsx says.

clubsi + clubrsx = :gaygiggle
