Headlight "eye lids" available? Set to be produced?

I am awaiting a photo chop right now...but I bet it would look hot as hell, as far as either carbon fiber or color specific eye lids for the headlights...

Any plans to make these?

(I picture it looking like the new EVO X lights) ANGRY!!!!

Make your own??? It would be way cheaper and could personalize it. Just use the spray tint on them. I saw this thread a while back with the other car in it and thought it looked nice. Now it looks sweet. If I end up tinting my lights i will let you guys know.

something light and inexpensive, fiberglass? abs blow mold is expensive isnt it ? comapred to fiberglass, and i didnt fellow on the guy with the tint on headlight is that it ?

Im saying (for black) he could just buy some spray tint. Then tape off the part to be made into the Eyelid. Then clear coat the entire thing. same effect. Just imagine that in the pic he made it was not a solid but like a piece of tint film.

nice but not functional.. it covers some of the light going out.. usually all eyelids are functional, doesnt cover important portions of the headlights

yeah if the eyelids didnt cover the light output i'd rock these..i'll see if my friend can work his magic on doing a custom template for one

The car already looks angry IMO. The stock headlights look pretty ideal. The shape of the headlights follows the lines of the car.

Those eyelids just make it look like the car is dozing off.

Now, something like the MKIV Jetta (used to be my DD) really benefited from them since it allowed the headlights to merge with the lines of the car and took a happy bright looking set of eyes into a furrowed angry brow. A debadged grill really set it off.

They do look nice the way they are photochopped. I kind of like them on the SRT-4...
