Thumbs down Getting sick of Auto City Imports.

I ordered a set of foglights on the 21st of March. It sat in processing status for about a week so I decided I would call and see what the problem was. When I got ahold of them I was told the clear foglights were on backorder and they wouldnt be shipped for another two weeks.
No-one at Auto City Imports bothered to call me and leave a message or send me an Email to inform me of this.
On the 3rd of April I got an Email saying my status had been updated. I goand check it and it says my foglights were delivered. I hadnt received anything so once again I called to find out what was going on. I was told whoever updated my order must have entered it wrong, it was supposed to say shipped not delivered. I was told my lights would be here no later than the 11th of April. So I wait patiently.... and wait... and wait.... So now it is the 12 of April and I STILL have not received my lights.

Anyone planning on buying anything from them, I would advise against it based on my experience.

At least your order went through and you got a responce. Tried ordering the Skunk2 knob with the 12 days of X-mas coupon. First the coupon didnt work, so i emailed them and never got a responce. Few days later I just went ahead and ordered the knob without the coupon and had an error page come up after the comfirming the order. So emailed again with no response again. Call the CC company and they said no funds were withdrawn. I could have called but with other companies I have resolved issues through emails. Not the case here.

I spoke with the customer today that started this thread before I was able to see this post. Everything was all worked out and the package is scheduled to deliver with UPS to his house today. When he called he mentioned not one word about being upset or anything in regards to this post. When I pulled his file to give him the information on the status of the delivery I noticed the order was placed nearly 3 weeks ago. I apologized for the hold up and explained to him that it was unacceptable that he should have to wait that amount of time for the delivery. I then offered the customer free shipping and wholesale cost on his next purchase to hopefully make up for the inexcusable hold up. He seemed to be happy with this and everything should be worked out at this point. Keep in mind guys we do not always have control over when something ships out, a lot of the time if we don’t have the items here we have to count on the manufacturer or distributor to ship out in a timely fashion in our behalf. If you have an issue like this there is always someone on the other end of the phone willing to try our best to end the situation with you as a happy customer.
