SuperStreet Mag has a good write up in this months issue on an 07 FA5 with.... DIFFERENT SWITCHES. they are so kind to include a pic of the switch assembly that has fogs and the original one which didn't. It's a full how-to with pictures 'n all. Not bad. Be sure to check it out. ^_^v

these fogs and i think any other aftermarket fogs (k2, aci, pw:jdm, anything) are the same brand. i notice that everywhere i see the aftermarket brand is "ESUSE" or whatever. i got mine from a local aftermarket part store for 115. btw mine is an 07, and i got crative with it, i moved the vsa switch somewhere else and replaced it with fog switch. ill post up a pic later

To top it all off, they don't provide you the proper zip-tie-clips to attach the harness when you run it along the front bumper as shown in the DIY here
nor do they provide the clips that snap into the holes where you'll be needing in several spots, also shown on the DIY thread above. As if it wasn't bad enough having the wrong switch. There's also another gread DIY from honda here http://www.handa-accessories.com/civic/072rdsi.pdf If you want it done right on an 07 coupe buy the kit from here. They come with the proper clips AND switch. http://www.handa-accessories.com/civext06.html The switch for the 07 coupe alone is $65 from honda, and I don't think the wiring would be the same if you were just to buy the switch and use the kit from ACI. I'm done with this thread and this company. Good riddance. |
