i checked it too but i didntany dual brand..

what i would do is call the company.. PAC

they should be able to tell u if it can work with dual..

just so you know the DIY is a little incorrect. the red wire has to be wire to a "SWITCHED" 12+ volts. if you do it to a constant like it shows it wont ever work. I had to help out a fellow member that couldn't figure out why it wouldnt program. other than that, good DIY!

Problem

I have this hooked up.. well the swi-ECL2 to my eclipse avn5510. I have all the wires connected.. grounded and i program the interface to 3. Then on the directions it says "ok the led will be on now and u can start programming the buttons" Problem is the led doesnt stay on.. i turn the ignition on and it flashes 3 times.. then after that it goes out. Any ideas?

2 questions:

Where exactly IS the stock Honda 20 pin connector? Is it near the stereo, or near the steering wheel?

Did you have to cut the brown and pink factory wires to do this?

Thanks!

I am installing an avic-d3 with the swi-x. Will the delay be very noticeable? Is it worth buying the one that plugs in the back of the navi? I already have the swi-x, i had it sitting in my garage. Also, where is the best spot to mount the ir emitter, can i just put on dash kit next to navi?

Thanks for the DIY- VERY VERY helpful. Worked like a charm on my Pioneer DEH-P4000UB. There is a little lag like everyone stated, but it's not bad.
