Forget my question. I kinder figure it myself. It more easy than the shift stick. Auto is a snap and pull console people.

To remove on the automatic, all you have to do is strong arm the entire section off. Everything will come off except the shifter/ light grey with R N D D3 2 and 1 as well as the parking break. It may hurt your fingers a little, but you get the same results. The entire unit is held together by clamps. Just press to put back on.

Does anyone know where to get the ipod or external XM adapter that hooks up to the little white connecter? Thanks

The white connector. You mean the auxilary jack harness? That white connector attach to another harness. That harness attach to auxilary jack. There NO such adaptor (ipod or XM) that hook w/ the little connector. If there such adapter, please tell me. I pay good cash for it $$$$

30 mm hole saw?

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone in this thread. I just got my auxiliary jack today and I was going to try to install it myself....everything looks pretty simple - however, I had a question on the drill sizes since everything is in the metric system. The 3 mm drill converts into 3/16, the 5 mm drill size converts into 7/32. Not quite sure on the 30 mm hole saw, I find other sizes like 32 mm but not the 30 mm. What did everyone else use?

Quick Question.

The AT was so simple to get the panel around the shift knob off. Just a quick simple pull.

Why does college hills honda instructions say to do an ECU learn on the car after finishing the install.

Does a person really have to disconnect the battery to put in a 15 minute input jack for the radio??

I don't understand the point of this thread. Don't these cars have a factory aux input?

it does have factory aux i belive and if u think theirs no point why bother posting? now fyi reason why this is important is for those people who do not wish to keep the oem factory sound system piece of sh!t and upgrade with a better sound, but in order to upgrade is to either 1 do an loc which is ok but may be crappy or 2 put aftermarket amps so therefore the stock amp needs to be "bypassed" since i last posted on this thread i have learned i belive and im on my way to upgade the stock sound and i bought the bypass harness.

yes, as of the 07 model year, all LX EX and Si civics came with aux inputs standard. However, only the 06 LX coupes, Sedan and coupe EXs and all Si models had the aux input and those of us (like myself) with LX sedans had to buy a $100 piece of plastic from honda to get an official aux input. If you read another DIY thread of mine you will see the wiring for the aux connector on cars not equipped with the jack

Yes, why do you have to disconnect the battery?

No Aux Cannector !

Oh my god, my car doesnดt have an aux connector like the one in your pictures !.
Itดs an LX model, made in Brasil and imported by Honda Venezuela. The stock radio looks exactly like the one in the pictures so i ordered the Honda OEM connector from a dealer in Miami and a friend brought it here for me. Is there a chance that the connector is trapped in the back of the radio unit or somewhere in the dash ?
If somebody had this problem or knows how to fix it le me know.

Thank you guys !

IIRC, LX Sedan doesn't have AUX input, but the coupe does.

You can install the OEM aux adaptor, or wire your own aux input into the connector.
