Cool How To: Change "Welcome" Message - threads merged

I have a 2006 Si with the 350W Non-Navi Audio system, so if you have something different, I am not sure this will work for you.

1. With the radio off, hold down the Tune button and press the Power button.

2. Use the Tune dial to scroll through the letters, numbers and symbols.

3. To advance to the next space, hit the Track forward button. The opposite for moving backwards.

Thats it!

I know this isn't much of a DIY, but I figured there might be people out there who didn't know.

I have the DX-G model in Canada.... I have never noticed a welcome message before... Do the Canadian models not have it? And if not, don't Canadians deserve to feel welcome also?

EX Coupe MT

Doesn't work on US EX Sedans w/o Navi

You have to have the "Premium" sound system.

Only on the Coupes...and actually, I think only on the LX and up (if not just EX and up).

It's in the manual. Nice to have it posted here for easy-access, though. Thanks.

There isn't. Only the Coupes have the "Premium" sound system.

What in the world would possess you to think it would work on an aftermarket HU?

Of course it won't work.
