I'm still having trouble getting the upper center dash off. The part with the radio itself. Are there any screws or is it just "pull tabs"? Also, whats the point of removing the plastic panel next to the 12V outlet?

There are 2 screws inside the plastic panel next to the 12V outlet. If you do a quick search you will find here.

hey rickt, do your steering wheel controls work with that unit and can you still adjust the bass to the 8" sub? I need a better way to hook up my ipod permanently. That would be perfect. Is it some chinese brand radio?

Looks nice and thanks for the time!

I have a 2008 Honda Civic EX w/Navi. I understand everything to do except one thing. I have done much research and am very frustrated as I have not found any answers. Is removal of the Navigation head unit similar to non-navi head units? I just need to know how to get to the back of my navi head unit so i can simply connect my rca outputs and remote cable. please help

I don't have radio control on mine, but it did work on my brothers car that I installed.

Are parts 77255-SNA-A00 (Radio Bracket Passenger Side) and 77256-SNA-A00 (Radio Bracket Driver Side) necessary if you're doing a double din install?

Would I need anything other than 77250-SNA-A01ZA (Center Panel Gray)?

Does a double-DIN stereo fit into the NAVI dash without modification? I'm thinking about getting an aftermarket in-dash navigation system.

No it doesn't. You will need a trim piece.

See the left dash piece has a trim piece where the stock doesn't.

So if I buy a new head unit that has a usb in port in the back, will that connect to the USB lead coming from inside my hand rest? I hate only having one display line in my stock stereo, but there is no way I want to replace the stereo if it means losing my USB capabilities.

Is there any way I can reach the radio harness without pulling everything apart? I'm not changing my HU or anything, just using a t-tap harness to connect a sub.

so, looking at the two dashes, being the atlas gray and the gunmetal, will there be a difference in installing a single din head unit and a pocket like in an EX? I have an Si. Are those all stock navi dashes?
