well I got the new double din Pioneer deck installed, and new rear infinity speakers to match the fronts I installed a few months ago. Overall I am very happy with the sound, but extremely disappointed with the Scosche dash kit.
It came out looking nowhere near the factory dark gray color of the rest of the dash plastic (IE the gage cluster cover plate). It looks ok relative to the rest of the dash on the right hand side, but it looks silver compared to the dark gray gage panel plastic. Very annoying. So I ordered the factory one from Honda, which I'm picking up today or tomorrow, and sending the POS Scosche unit back to Crutchfield. So just a heads up, if you are even the slightest bit concerned with the look of your dash, forget the scosche unit. Also the factory one was half the cost. I wish I had gotten that from the start, but I figured since I was ordering speakers and wire harness' from crutchfield I'd go ahead and get the panel while I was at it. BIG mistake. There are guys that reviewed tha panel on the CF website who must be totally color blind, saying that is looks fine unless you are looking for it. Total BS, it is not even in the same ballpark of gray. Either Honda changed the color at some point, or the color match experts at Scosche are morons. Hope that keeps someone else from making the same mistake... -Chris |

I am looking to convert to a single DIN radio and I know all the harness to get to convert. Is there compontets to buy that would fit the Factory Dash for Nav? I am looking to buy from honda the Nav Dash so it would match my dash. I know there are the kits out there but from what I read it is not a complete math to color.
Thanks -D |

If you are talking about the adapter to make the steering wheel controls work with an aftermarket unit, the product is called PAC SWI. There are a few different ones so find the one that works for you. Many retailers sell them.

The stock XM box will not work with a pioneer HU that I know of. The plugs are different as the stock HU is alpine or clarion if i remember right.
And yes the tweeters will work as long as you do not bypass the factory amp. |
