Start up message.

Is there any known way to change the "clickitorticket" start up message on the radio?

**If you have Nav, this won't work for you.

For you non-Navers, you'll notice that when you turn your key to the Accessory(I) position or the On (II) position, the screen on your Radio/CD player says "Welcome". Well, there's a way to change that in 6 easy steps.

Step 1: Turn your key to either position mentioned above.
Step 2: Turn your radio off if you haven't already.
Step 3: Hold the TUNE button(located on the right side)
L_____________>
Step 4: While holding TUNE, push POWER once. You will see this: WELCOME_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
L_____________>
Step 5: Using the TUNE knob, turn it clockwise/counterclockwise to change the letter to another letter, number, or symbol. To change to the previous/next letter, push the <</>> button (Track change buttons). You can use up to 16 characters.
*Please Note- The _ means space, it will show up as a space after you have finished.
Step 6: Repeat the above process until the desired message is finished. Then push the POWER button once. Now, turn your key to the LOCK position, and then to either the Accessory(I) position or the ON(II) position. Your message will be displayed.

This DIY may be done as many times as you wish, there is no limit. Pictures aren't really needed, it's self explanatory.

are you talking about the message it displays when you turn it on? if so that's strange...mine says "welcome" not sure, but I think you may want to talk to honda about that.
